Audition

The Rushe Middle School Band will perform at the Florida Bandmasters Association Concert Band Music Performance Assesssment on March 8 – 9, 2022. This band will only be comprised of the best Rushe Middle School Band students. If you would like to perform in this prestigious band please look at the qualifications below and audition for the band on January 10 – 12, 2022.

Students that make the Rushe MS Symphonic Band will need to make rehearsals on Mondays and Thursdays starting January 20th from 2:15 pm – 4:00 pm.

*Students who auditioned for the Pasco County Middle School All-County Concert Band automatically qualify and will not need to audition.

Scales and Arpeggios:

Concert B-flat, Concert E-flat, Concert A-flat and Concert F Major

Chromatic Scale Starting on Concert C and ending on Concert C

The more octaves that you perform the higher the chair that you will earn in the band.
