Hello Ravens!
The school counselors will be teaching the District’s annual curriculum called Safer Smarter Teens: Personal Power. Each counselor will be going into the classrooms for the first semester to teach their grade level lesson about student advocacy and safety. There will also be discussion about having personal power to recognize danger, the power to say no, and having the power to get help. If you wish for your child to not participate in these lessons, please email your grade level school counselor no later than September 6, 2024.
The 6th grade counselor will be covering Lesson 1 and 2
The 7th grade counselor will be covering Lesson 3 and 4
The 8th grade counselor will be covering Lesson 5 and 6.
